AZCentral is reporting (“Customers Can Relax, Fulton’s Chief Says”) that Fulton Homes’ company that handles land acquisition and building is the entity that filed for Chapter 11 protection and that the company that handles home warranties is not impacted and will continue to honor homebuilder warranties for its previous customers.
This is good news as it signals a desire to do right by Fulton Homes’ customer base. Fulton Homes has a strong reputation in the general community and across the Realtor community so this is very pleasing.
Having said that, I still believe it is prudent for homeowners under the builder warranty to take advantage of their warranties sooner rather than later.
Fulton Homes operates 21 communities across the Valley.
