During the Presidential election, the issue you heard talked about the least was probably the topic of Global Warming.  For many of us that were concerned about this issue not getting enough attention, it is good to know that people are focused on climate change and taking steps to do their part to help reduce Americans’ environmental impact.

That’s where Buckeye comes in with its “Buckeye is Going Green” commitment.  On December 1st, Buckeye’s town government will change its operating hours from 8am to 5pm on Monday through Friday, to 7am to 6pm on Monday through Thursday.  Many town offices will be closed Fridays except for emergency city services and a few select city offices.  Otherwise, get ready!  Buckeye will be closed on Fridays for business in an effort to reduce the town’s environmental impact.

For more information, visit Buckeye’s official site.

Enjoy the 3-day weekends and way to go Buckeye!
