Architecture Thinking

I thought I would highlight a fascinating blog, Architecture Thinking, for its attention to residential and commercial architecture around the world.

There are some terrific examples of the creativity and inspiration that architects strive to capture in their designs from time to time.  Take a few minutes to check out the site and more examples of some of the most ingenious architecture conceived – it’s well worth it.

Here are a couple that Architecture Thinking highlighted that struck me as interesting and appealing…

This is a student housing complex at the University of Twente in the city Enschede in The Netherlands.

Did you notice the rock climbing “wall” that is the side of the building and the person scaling it near the top?

This floathouse is also located in the Netherlands.  I love it for its simplicity and focus on enjoying the water and natural scenery around it.

Check out Architecture Thinking for more designs.
